Midsummer/Litha
According to one of my favorite online sources of information, Litha is:
"Celebrating the God's life, Litha is another fire festival. It is a holiday of transition, when the God transforms from young warrior to aging sage. It is a time for rejoicing, but also of introspection, making sure plans are still on track and correcting negative aspects of one's life."
This is a true assesment of the holiday, but we Wiccans know there is more. There's something about the feeling of life, that heat that stirs something within us. This holiday is all about the celebration of the peak of vivacity during Midsummer. Then, also, as is stated, we must realize that the damp dark of autumn and winter is coming.
Our next update is going to be on Midsummer's Eve. Then, I'll tell you how I personally will celebrate the day, and I will definitely encourage you to share your own plans.
Until then,

"Evolution didn't stop with us getting thumbs. There are a lot of metaphysical, spiritual, and emotional changes going on right now, and we're just trying to reflect that. We're not that different from Tori Amos" ~ Maynard James Keenan
